Welcome to my blog. What you will see here for the next few days is an email I send out related to our 40-Days of Prayer campaign at Summit Point Church in KC. 

Hey gang, I actually missed today in the 40 days of prayer. I was so concerned about getting Night to Shine on the prayer calendar that I skipped a day. So we need to pray extra for the Lord to move in and through Night to Shine.

Night to Shine is a prom for people with special needs. The event is in partnership with the Tim Tebow Foundation, and area churches. After 9 years, Tammy and I have been working to transition our role as directors of the event over to the team at Graceway Church.

This is an incredible opportunity for us to show the love of Christ to hundreds of people who are made in God's image and reflect His glory.

Day 33 - February 9 – Night to Shine 1

Please pray that God would fill all those involved with joy bubbling over in their souls and that the Gospel would be lived out boldly. Please pray about last-minute details. Pray for the leadership team, the guests, and the volunteers. Please pray there are no issues with the event space tomorrow night.

Genesis 1:26-27

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

So God created man in his own image,
    in the image of God he created him;
    male and female, he created them.

Praying that God will work for His Glory through Night to Shine 2024.
